I have been skiing since I was younger, and I have experience teaching ski lessons to people and children of all ages and skill levels.
I have experience interacting with people, families, and especially children, in many different settings and from many different backgrounds. I come from a large family so I find I am attune to function well in hectic environments.
I have pedagogical experience in other domains, so I have to ability to draw from an array of techniques to communicate and translate desired behaviors. I find teaching skiing is not only physical challenge for the student, but often a mental challenge as well.
I teach skiing starting from the principal of the outer edges being necessary to engage in an early learning stage. I try to avoid the student from learning a triangle stop until it is necessary. *(Not all Pizzas are Triangles!!!)
My rates are much more affordable than the mountains, and lessons much more customizable to the needs of the student. The student comes first!
