Al Merrick Channel Islands Rob Machado 6’0 single fin
Out of production for years.
Some pressure dings.
From the google:
Rob Machado has collaborated on several single-fin models over the years, both with Channel Islands and his own Firewire imprint. This board is the older, more classic Channel Islands MSF (Machado Single Fin) model, possibly the "G2" version. These are often found in custom colors, including various shades of blue.
Channel Islands MSF and MSF G2
Design and performance: Inspired by Rob Machado, these boards have a full outline that makes them enjoyable in smaller waves. The G2 version is a bit narrower with a spiral vee bottom designed for better waves. A 6'0" model would be a lively single fin for a skilled surfer, with excellent trim and flow.
Single-fin specifics: These boards were designed for a single fin, unlike some other Machado boards that are twin or quad fins.
Construction: The MSF boards often feature a classic polished gloss finish with a retro resin tint, so the blue color would be part of that aesthetic.
Availability: These are not current production models and are primarily found on the used market. You can find them on sites like The Board Source.
