My living situation just changed unexpectedly. I play the drums and have a VERY large drumset (the picture is only about 75% of it). But my current living arrangement is not going to provide space to set them up and play.
I am a 45yo single white male. I work full time. I am potentially looking to rent a space where I could just park my drum kit and leave it set up and ready to play. This could be a something where I solely stop in to play my drums here and there just a few hours a week, but NOT living there. Or, if the right situation arises I might also be interested in a place that provides both housing and a drum space, but the housing aspect is less urgent right now.
I am very flexible as to the type of space I would be interested in. One thing REQUIRED is basic climate control. Access to a bathroom would be helpful, but shower/laundry...all that stuff is not necessarily required depending on the location.
Probably the smallest space that could work would be simply like a 12x12 bedroom. But the ideal room would be like a detached garage, office or flex warehouse type space. Who knows, if you have an odd 100sqft+ of empty space laying around, try me! Maybe you could make a few bucks off it!
Also, because of the nature of drums...they are LOUD! (I promise, I'm pretty good though!) I would obviously respect any agreements as to what times that I can or cannot play. That's where a detached garage or warehouse space would come in handy. Some place where I could play 24 hours without bothering anybody would be awesome! But I know that's also probably not realistic.
So let me know if you have a nice little space for a drummer and have interest in helping me grow my talents and studio recordings!
