J&H Dinettes and Upholstery is seeking an experienced Manager to lead production in our high-end custom furniture shop. This role oversees the building, assembly, and finishing of custom furniture pieces such a booths, banquettes, chairs, stools, tables, upholstered wall panels and beds, ensuring every project meets our premium craftsmanship standards.
The Manager will supervise shop staff, coordinate workflow, and maintain quality control while working hands-on with furniture construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily shop operations and staff
Lead custom furniture building and assembly
Read and execute shop drawings/specs
Ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
Train team members and maintain shop organization
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced in high-end custom furniture building
Prior leadership or foreman experience
Skilled with woodworking tools and machinery
Able to read blueprints/shop drawings
Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-driven
