I’m looking for a morning job. Preferably, I would like to find something paying $18–$21+ an hour, as that is what I was making at previous jobs. I am looking for full-time work in the Brooklyn/Sunset Park area or nearby.
I currently live in Point Pleasant, NJ, but I have a family member who lives in Brooklyn. I wanted to get a job before my unemployment runs out (roughly June 15th/June 20 so it gives me time to move up) and also find a job that will give me some time to move my stuff up here from NJ.
Depending on what you offer me for work, I am okay with trying new things and learning. I have no prior experience working in a restaurant, café, or similar environment, but I am willing to learn roles such as:
- Bussing
- Barista work
- Baking
I am also still learning the subway and my way around, so please forgive me if things seem slow at first. Once I figure out a routine, I should be fine.
I have experience in:
-- Retail – 11 years (Walmart & Marshalls)
- Stocker
- Backroom inventory/picker
- Return cart stocker
- Truck unloader (for two different companies)
- Cart pusher
-- Screen Printing – 1 year and 10 months
- Screen printing (on the large printers for mesh screens)
- Maintenance on the large washing machines used to clean the mesh
-- Minor experience (high school jobs):
- Maintenance/janitorial
- Landscaping/groundskeeper
I am personally looking to stay out of big retail stores if possible. I would rather work for a family-owned company.
Please only contact me with serious job inquiries or actual job opportunities. No spam, bots, or messages asking if I’m looking for a job, as all the information is already listed above. You will be blocked otherwise.
I’d really appreciate any opportunities. Thank you!
