Fingerboard Side Dots: Glow-in-the-dark green acid
Fingerboard Radius: 12
Hardware: Gold Gotoh Tele bridge, control plate, tuners and electro socket jack holder
Screws: Stainless steel military grade alloy on the pickup height adjustments, switch and neck plate, black oxide around the pickguard and gold and nickel for the Tele plate screws.
Nut: White Bone (like the white make up of the Joker)
Electronics: Top Secret configuration! The purple relay switch is a power on and off for the guitar. It has a 9 volt battery that powers the entire system under the gold control plate. It also has a purple arcade button kill switch. I choose this setup because the Joker's character likes to be in control and to have the power to turn off the entire guitar is something the Joker would do, especially turning off Gotham City forever.
Pickup: Because of the unique nature of the guitar I used a "Buell Blade Bucker" with two black blades that match the 12" fingerboard radius. The pickups are in series, split, parallel settings of the three way switch like a Fender Esquire wiring but with more complexities. Kevin Buell is Bruce Springsteen's longtime guitar tech and has done over 1000 shows with Bruce. Our friends at Seymour Duncan made the Buell Buckers to our drawings. These pickups are limited edition; they're one of a few left from the batch we made. Besides Bruce and Johnny Depp, no one else has these pickups in their guitar. If you would like to hear what the pickups sound like they were used exclusively on Bruce's record "Letter To You" and the last tour Johnny Depp played with his dear friend the late great Jeff Beck.
