Seeking an experienced Live-In Superintendent to maintain the daily operations of a 70-unit apartment community in Long Branch, NJ. This position is responsible to maintain and service the building facilities and tenant work orders. This is a full-time, onsite position offering a competitive salary, benefits, and a spacious apartment.
• Respond to service requests from management and tenants such as appliance repairs, simple plumbing/electric repairs, painting,.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate and assist with apartment turnovers, including working with outside contractors.
• Perform general maintenance repairs and tasks in a manner that is safe to self, residents, and staff.
• Organizational skills to prioritize service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Special projects or additional duties assigned by Supervisor that are essential for property operations.
• Work with tenants and other staff members in a positive manner.
• The ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs in the following areas;
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• HVAC
• Appliance Repairs
• Sheetrock
• General Carpentry
• Painting and Compounding
• Ice/Snow Removal
