“T.J. Bridge’s landscapes are brought to life through their incredible colors and fearless brush strokes.
Born in 1972 to two amateur painters, Bridge began experimenting with painting at a young age. Continuing the Southern tradition of an autodidactic art scene, Bridge began as a self taught painter, but he graduated from University of Georgia at Athens with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and drawing. After commencement, Bridge undertook a lengthy journey around the United States, studying and painting what had originally inspired his artistry : nature.
Bridge’s intrigue with and inspiration by nature is apparent in his work as he depicts the contrasts and commonalities in the wild world. His peaceful seascapes sit alongside his landscapes of barren deserts and fertile pastures.”
