About the Role
You will support:
• A 31 year old man in Toms River — hands on personal care (toileting, bathing, medications) and community outings.
• A 30 year old woman in Manchester — in home support and community activities.
Schedules
Manchester (15 hrs/week):
• Mon–Wed: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Toms River (12 hrs/week):
• Thu–Fri: 3:30 PM–6:30 PM
• Sat: 9:30 AM–3:30 PM
Starting Pay Rate: $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support and companionship
• Transport and accompany the client to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Assist with household tasks, including tidying, organizing, and daily routines
• Support with shopping, cooking, and meal preparation
• Encourage participation in community activities and foster social connections
• Promote independence and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in direct support roles (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Adult First Aid/CPR certification
