We are an upscale kosher restaurant in the Toms River/Lakewood area looking for a strong Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to help lead our operation.
We're not looking for someone who just knows how to cook. We're looking for someone who can lead service, keep a team organized, build systems, and stay calm when the entire restaurant gets busy at once.
Most nights are manageable, but when the rush hits, it hits hard. The right person enjoys that challenge.
What You'll Do:
• Lead dinner service
• Run the line and expo when needed
• Train and develop kitchen staff
• Build and maintain prep systems
• Manage ordering and inventory
• Help control food costs and waste
• Work directly with ownership to improve operations
What We Need:
• Strong kitchen leadership and service experience
• Ability to lead and hold a team accountable
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Calm under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Kosher kitchen experience preferred

Compensation:
