Study Summary:
Clinilabs is currently enrolling Caucasian adults ages 21 to 40 for an at home sleep research study. We are looking for individuals who snore at night, wake up feeling tired, experience morning headaches, or may have undiagnosed sleep apnea. Eligible participants will visit the Clinilabs Research Unit to pick up a study device and then complete the sleep study in the comfort of their own home. The study is designed to determine when participants are awake or asleep and to identify different stages of sleep.
Study Qualifications:
Participation in this study varies based on the group you are assigned to.
• Ages 21 to 40
• BMI must be less than 25kg/m2
• Willingness to sleep alone on the PSG testing night (without bed partner or pets)
• Avoiding alcohol on the PSG testing night
• Not previously diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
• Obtains at least 4 hours of self-reported total sleep time on weeknights
Participants may receive compensation for time and participation. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed. Travel reimbursement is available for eligible candidates.
Study Schedule:
Online pre-screening required. Screening visit and equipment setup. 1 at-home sleep assessment. Following day, in a clinic visit.
