This posting is for a Tektronix 2465 Analog 300 MHz 4 Channel Oscilloscope. This oscilloscope includes the internal Digital Multimeter. I find that I'm rarely using this scope so it's time to make it available to a new home electronics workshop.
Note that this is a 300 MHz ANALOG scope. No digital aliasing!
Channels 1 and 2 function like most any other oscilloscope, with a wide range of gain settings. Channels 3 and 4 provide for only two gain settings: 100 mV per division or 500 mV per division.
You can down load a PDF of the user manual from Tek at https://www.tek.com/en/manual/2465-operators-manual
As with most any older piece of electronics equipment, there are some glitches with this device. From an operational point of view, the only problem I've noticed is that sometimes the channel 1 gain deflection will jump a bit. I find that if I rotate the gain setting a few clicks forward and then a few clicks backward, that that will clear the problem for the rest of the day.
An additional problem can be seen in the last photo. The left side foot (right side of photo) is missing and the plastic escutcheon on the back has broken. I've owned this scope for about 25 years and I know that I haven't dropped the scope or smashed anything into it, so I'm guessing that the plastic has become brittle with age and has cracked. What this means is that the user will need to tape what remains of the escutcheon in place and that the scope can not be stood upright on a floor, on end, as one might do with a portable scope. It should be fine for a bench top applications, where nothing should disturb the back end of the scope.
Photos:
Photo 1 shows the scope with 1x probes attached to channel 1 and channel 2, with the deflection gain set to 500 mV per division and the probes connected to the internal 400 mV p-p calibrator output. Additionally the DMM is set to OHMS and the DMM test leads are connected to a 10K 5% resistor.
Photo 2 shows the scope without any probes or test leads attached.
Photo 3 shows the rear of the scope with the cracked plastic escutcheon and missing left foot.
This sale includes the scope itself, an AC power cable, the original paper copy of the user manual and the original paper copy of the Digital Multimeter user manual. This sale does *not* include scope probes and does *not* include test leads for the digital multimeter.
You are welcome to test the scope before you buy it, to see if it meets your needs. I will have modest scope probes and a function generator available for your testing. You are welcome to bring your own signal sources and probes that you may want to use for additional testing.
Price is $160, cash and carry.

It saddens me to report that many of the responses I get to postings like this one on Craig's List appear to be from scammers. So let me give you some transaction info in advance. I do all product transfers from my car to yours in the parking lot at the Middletown Police Station and the MT Police are OK with that (encourage it actually). There are video cameras that cover the lot. I don't know if that includes automated license plate readers. The parking lot is easily accessible from the Parkway and Rt 35. The only form of payment I accept is $20 bills, like what you get from the ATM. If the price is not an exact increment of $20 I will come with the necessary bills to make change. If those terms are not acceptable to you then please do not respond to this posting.
