Want performance? Crave luxury? Fountain Mercury has melded the performance moxie of an offshore racer with the creature comforts of a condo. Undoubtedly the fastest, most fuel efficient boat in its class, with twin 320 HP CUMMINS DIESELS ( 1120 hours ) the 38 EC can reach top speeds in excess 50 mph. The cockpit has space and comfort to rival any wide-beam cruiser on the market today. At the helm, two side-by-side drop-down bolster seats put you and your companion in complete control. Opposite, a port-side lounge seat is a perfect spot to catch a few rays. The party moves aft with a large, wrap-around settee seating for six with removable table and wet bar with ice maker. Below decks, the 38EC, with its 10' 6" beam and 6' 4" headroom, includes a master stateroom with a double berth, dresser and a cedar-lined locker. Aft, there is a cabin sleeper with a stand-up head with VacuFlush toilet, sink and shower. The galley features a sink, microwave oven, and fridge/freezer. The 38ECs list of standard equipment is extensive. Combined with the Onan Cummins 5KW genset ( 589 hours ) AC/heat and all the other amenities you can enjoy boating year round. In 2018 turbo's as well as exhaust manifold's were replaced, 2021 after coolers were removed sonic cleaned and reinstalled, 2 new lower units and both bellows were replaced winter of 2019-2020 and all new canvas ( bimini and cockpit cover ) in 2022
