Beautiful curly maple 4-post bed with turned spool posts that is at least 90 years old! Dimensions are: 57" x 80" x 52 1/2"(H) (54 1/2" H with casters). All casters, screws and iron brackets are complete. Box spring and mattress are supported by the iron brackets (brackets replaced original ropes that were extended from side to side). There is the usual wear and tear that one might expect from use: a number of nicks on wide/long pieces; none on posts and spindle. Headboard has cracks on both "curls"; 1 crack repaired with wooden piece; other crack is not through to other side; some stain on one side of headboard.

This is a very solid and sturdy bed.
