Unusually large clock with French movement by "Vincenti & Cie" sold by J.E.Caldwell & Co. in Philadelphia PA.Movement is square while typical French clocks have round movements and much smaller dials. The porcelain dial is just shy of 7 inches ! Freshly serviced with new mainsprings and the best lubricants money can buy. It is in very good almost perfect condition and I believe was made in the 1870's. Keeps time. Strike is on a gong. Bargain price for a rare clock.
